PURPOSE OF THE RETIREE CLUB

The purpose of the CUPE 5555 Retired Members Club once formed, will be:
To bring retirees into an organization for the betterment of themselves and their union.  The Club will provide retirees with a vehicle to protect and fight for the issues that affect them as retirees and family members and to share information with one another that can help with life outside of the work force.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP TO RETIREES 

Retired member clubs are a way to stay connected to the Union for social, political and mobilization purposes, thus providing retirees with a voice in matters that affect them.  Benefits of membership also include a paid membership to Municipal Retirees Organization (MROO) and participation in our CUPE 5555 membership Discount Program that will give great discounts to local businesses. You will also have access to all events held by the local such as the annual Christmas party.
