Urgent: Strike Pay Application Form
Dear CUPE 5555 Member:
Your provincial & local bargaining committee’s continue to work hard on your behalf to negotiate a fair, and equitable, collective agreement.
Although we continue to bargain with the best intentions, we believe that preparation is crucial at this time.
In order to be eligible to receive strike pay in an event that a strike did happen, you must complete, sign, and return the STRIKE PAY APPLICATION FORM that can be found below.
We would kindly ask that you fill out the application form and return immediately. This application will not only be used to determine strike duty and any accommodation needs in advance, but will also ensure that there is no delay in funds being received in the event of a strike.
While we work towards a settlement at the provincial level, the O.S.B.C.C bargaining mobilization committee has developed an escalating work to rule plan. You will be updated as things progress through email and our website.
Please encourage others to sign up to our E-blast email system as things can change at a moments notice leaving us no time to send hard copy communication to the work place. Members who wish to sign up can do so by visiting our website www.cupe5555.ca and clicking on the link from the home page.

In solidarity,
