Welcome New Members! Please make sure you’re looking around the website to learn about our Local.
A few things we encourage you to do right away:
1. Sign up for E-Blast to make sure you’re getting all Union Communications.
2. Sign up for a Union Membership card. This gets you into meetings, and also gets you access to Edvantage.
3. Check out contact information for our President, Vice-President, and more!
4. Every work location should have a CUPE board. The board will have the contact list, any important information, upcoming Social Events, etc.
5. We encourage you to ensure you read our Collective Agreement. Ask questions along the way if you’re unsure. Anyone in the contact list would be happy to help answer your questions.
6. Come to a General Membership Meeting. We have 3 GMMs each year, and share important information and updates at these meetings. It’s also a great time to ask any questions you may have.
7. Read over these two sections of our collective agreement that are most important for our casual members.
