Looking for Committee Members- Deadline March 14/16

cupe5555 Uncategorized

Dear CUPE 5555 member:

In an effort to build a stronger local union, we are looking for increased member involvement. We have many positions that we would like to fill, and give you, the member, an opportunity to apply if interested.

I have provided a list of committee’s/positions we are looking to fill and have attached an application form below. If applying for more than one position, I would kindly ask that you fill out a separate application form for each one.(Deadline , Monday March 14/16)

Committee work is a vital part of our union and we appreciate your interest. We do however ask that when applying, you keep in mind that union committees/positions are not an avenue to bring forth personal agendas and your conduct and views must adhere to the mandate set out by the local.

I would like to take a moment to thank all past committee members and highly encourage them to submit an application form if they wish to be considered to sit on the committee once again.

In solidarity,

Ron Maguire
