Young Moms program

CUPE 5555 continued the tradition of supporting the students in the young moms program at KPR during the holiday season by presenting each young mom with a small gift basket and a $50 gift card.

Our very own Don Postar visits all three young mom program locations in Peterborough , Clarington and Northumberland dressed as Santa Clause with the assistance of elf Anne Postil to hand out the gifts and visit with the children.

Life at its best can be difficult for teenagers and we applaud these young ladies for continuing their education.

I just wanted to share with you some letters that were passed to me from two young women at our TEAM program. Please share if you would like to as a way to let everyone involved know just how much things were appreciated.

Thank you for the amazing gifts. I went out right away to get my two boys Christmas presents. It was such a BIG help, you really made our Christmas possible! Also, the chocolate was delish!
